Guillermo Otero
Director/Creative Director
I am first a loving dad, caring husband, and respectful son. An artist, active creative director with a demonstrated history of success. Skilled in storytelling, media/content creation, songwriting, audio production (Logic Pro X), film, photography, power tools, indoor and outdoor home chef, and much more (Graphic expertise on the Adobe Creative Suite) and hundreds of more tools to get creative with. I'm a 7 in my enneagram if that means anything to you, Sagittarius and a Campaigner (ENFP) as my personality type (someone with the Extraverted, Intuitive, Feeling, and Prospecting personality traits. These people tend to embrace big ideas and actions that reflect their sense of hope and goodwill toward others. Their vibrant energy can flow in many directions.) It doesn’t interest me what you do for a living. I want to know what you ache for – and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart’s longing. My interpersonal skills, International Relations, and Creative Services mixed together, offer a uniquely inclusive approach, we will work from the inside out. I am an influential media and communication professional, which does not make me an influencer, but I know how things work. Born and raised in the dynamic contemporary and cutting-edge capital of Mexico (CDMX), I grew up with a camera in one hand and a guitar, microphone, and drumsticks in the other. The sprawling and complex city taught me many skills, there I studied Photography and Videography in film and digital formats, Communication Science, Graphic and Web Design, Songwriting, and even carpentry (with my dad). To continue my creative pursuits, I moved to the US, where I studied Music Production, and Songwriting at a deeper more professional level, signed 10 years of my life to a management and record label, released an album with Universal Music, went on a promotional tour, and got burned out like a birthday candle, after doing all that by myself. My parents and teachers always encouraged me to design a life, a mission, creatively. To make thoughts and visions palpable. To remember the road well enough, so that I can get back on track when necessary (life throws curveballs). My life went from I have a dream, and I believe I can, to doing it, and living beyond that tiny dream. I was never alone.
